Fontaines D.C. - Romance - Vinyl Record
Romance is the fourth album from Dublin band Fontaines D.C. and their first for XL Recordings, released in 2024. Recorded at La Frette studios outside Paris with producer James Ford, it finds Grian Chatten, Carlos O'Connell, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan III and Tom Coll breaking from the grit of Skinty Fia and reaching for something bigger, stranger and more colorful.
The shift is clear from the start. The brooding title track gives way to "Starburster," a breathless, hip-hop-inflected single that earned a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Performance. "Here's the Thing" leans into 90s alt-rock crunch, "In the Modern World" swells with strings, and the bright, jangling "Favourite" closes the record on a note of bittersweet hope. Chatten's voice ties it all together, moving easily between menace and tenderness.
This XL Recordings edition presents all eleven songs on a single LP. Drop the needle on the title track and let it pull you in.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
