Explosions in the Sky - Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Die... (Anniversary Edition) - Violet Color Vinyl

Explosions in the Sky released their second album, Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Live Forever, at the end of summer 2001. Compared with the minimal sound of their debut How Strange, Innocence, it was a leap in scale and intensity: six instrumentals that swing from hushed, shimmering guitar lines to speaker-rattling peaks.

Opener "Greet Death" sets the tone with its slow build and explosive release, "The Moon Is Down" offers a more reflective centre, and "With Tired Eyes, Tired Minds, Tired Souls, We Slept" closes on one of the band's most moving passages. It is the record where their signature sound fully took shape.

This Anniversary Edition from Temporary Residence is remastered and pressed on colour vinyl for the first time, here in violet, with restored full-colour artwork and a heavyweight full-colour inner sleeve. An essential chapter for post-rock collectors and a perfect partner to The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place.
