Boygenius (Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus) - Boygenius Vinyl Record
Before the Grammy-winning album, there was this. In 2018 Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus booked a tour together and, almost on a whim, went into Sound City in Van Nuys to write and record a few songs as a trio. Four days later they had the boygenius EP, released by Matador that fall.
Each songwriter brings her own voice, and the joy is hearing them push and hold each other up. Baker's slow builds anchor "Stay Down," Dacus leads the wry, devastating "Bite the Hand," and Bridgers takes the spotlight on "Me & My Dog," while the three harmonies on "Ketchum, ID" close the record on something close to a hymn. It became the founding statement of one of indie rock's most beloved collaborations.
This Matador edition plays at 45 RPM on a 12-inch disc, giving these six songs plenty of room. An easy companion to the solo records already on your shelf.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
