The 2006 debut arrived as the fastest selling album in British chart history and it still sounds like a band with something to prove. Alex Turner was nineteen, writing about taxi ranks, bouncers, indie discos and the walk home, and the band played it at a pace that barely lets up. "I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor" and "When The Sun Goes Down" were both UK number ones, but the record holds up because of the deep cuts: the tension of "Riot Van," the weary affection of "Mardy Bum," the closing sprawl of "A Certain Romance." Thirteen tracks, no filler, and the cornerstone of a whole era of British guitar music. Worth owning on vinyl even if you know every word already.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
