Robert Palmer - Collected - Vinyl Record 2LP 180g Import

Robert Palmer never stayed in one lane. Across three decades he moved from blue-eyed soul and New Orleans funk to reggae, new wave and slick rock, always with the same cool, effortless voice. Collected gathers that range onto two LPs, drawn from a larger career retrospective.

The first record covers the 70s and early 80s, from the Little Feat-flavoured "Sneakin' Sally Through The Alley" and the funky "Every Kinda People" to "Bad Case Of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor)" and the synth-pop gem "Johnny And Mary." The second brings the 80s peak: "Addicted To Love," which won him a Grammy, "Simply Irresistible" and "I Didn't Mean To Turn You On." Rarities round it out, including "Never Met A Dog" from his early band Vinegar Joe, "Some Like It Hot" with The Power Station, and the UB40 duet "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight."

Music On Vinyl presents the set on 180-gram vinyl in a gatefold sleeve. A stylish overview for soul, rock and 80s pop fans alike.
