1984 is the last Van Halen album with David Lee Roth and the one where Eddie Van Halen finally let synthesizers in, which turned out to be the most commercial decision of his life. "Jump" went to number one, "Panama" and "Hot For Teacher" became permanent radio fixtures, and "I'll Wait" showed the band could do restraint when it suited them. Recorded at Eddie's own 5150 studio, it still sounds enormous. This is an original Japanese pressing, catalogue P-11369 on Warner Bros. Ted Templeman produced, his last album with the original lineup. One copy only, graded as received.
