Suzi Quatro's 1974 debut is the record that put a woman in leather with a bass guitar at the front of a glam rock band, years before that was allowed. Chinn and Chapman wrote and produced the singles, and "Can The Can" and "48 Crash" are pure stomping aggression, while "Glycerine Queen" and the Johnny Kidd cover "Shakin' All Over" show she could carry a room without them. Every player who came after her owes something here. This is an original Japanese pressing, catalogue EOP-80919 on Odeon, the Toshiba imprint that carried most EMI-licensed rock in Japan at the time. One copy only, graded as received.
