Mount Eerie hit the road

Musician Phil Elverum, also known as Mount Eerie, has exciting news for fans! He will be going on tour in the United States and Europe this coming May and June. During these shows, Elverum plans to showcase new songs from his upcoming album that is currently in the works. The tour kicks off in Northampton, Massachusetts on May 9th and wraps up in Bristol, UK on June 25th.

For the May shows in the United States, Elverum will be performing with a duo. He jokingly stated, “I’m growing concerned that we may be already too tight as a band.” Fans who attend the Chicago show on June 9th will also have the opportunity to engage in a conversation with Hrishikesh Hirway. Meanwhile, the Brussels shows in June are in honor of Harry Smith’s 100th birthday and will include film screenings and a talk with Elverum.

Elverum’s latest record as Mount Eerie was a collaboration with Julie Doiron called Lost Wisdom Pt. 2, which was released in 2019. Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of his upcoming album and can purchase tickets to his tour through the provided link.
