There are some artists that time and time again release brilliant works. Bon Iver, the singer-songwriter Justin Vernon led band, is one of those artists. Today we look at their debut For Emma, Forever Ago which is one of our Essential Indie albums!
Delusions of Adequacy gave it a perfect score of 100 and described it as “Seamless in its construction, poetic in its songwriting and moving in its aesthetic impression.”

We agree that this record is close to a perfect and belongs in your collection. Justin’s voice I layered so delicately, you may find it hard to distinguish the voice from the instruments. With songs like “Skinny Love” and “Flume”, this record pulls you into the emotional ride that you wish could go on even longer than the vinyl will allow.
