To this day, Moontan is their most successful album internationally. It even went Gold in the United States! That's a big deal!

"Radar Love" became a radio favorite, reaching #13 on the Billboard Single Charts. Many famous bands, like U2, R.E.M., and Def Leppard, have covered the song over 500 times! When Golden Earring toured the US, they had awesome opening acts like Aerosmith and KISS. They even shared the stage with legends like Led Zeppelin and The Who!
