Recorded professionally in May 1987 at the Town and Country Club, this live performance captures The Go-Betweens at a pivotal moment—just before the release of Tallulah. Uncut praised it for providing "detailed evidence of the band's growing confidence and continuously refined songwriting." Robert Forster explained that this was the only Go-Betweens show ever captured on 24-track, 2-inch analog tape, recorded from a mobile truck parked beside the venue. The band seized the opportunity to craft an adventurous four-side setlist, resulting in a one-off performance that showcases some of their finest moments. A rare document of the band's creative peak.
