October 2007 found Amy Winehouse mid European tour and playing to rooms that had discovered her only months earlier. This unauthorized live recording documents the Tempodrom in Berlin on October 15, 2007, a set that runs the length of Back To Black before opening out into the covers and Frank material that her band handled so well.

The first half is the album in sequence, near enough: Addicted, Just Friends, Tears Dry On Their Own, He Can Only Hold Her, the title track, Wake Up Alone and Love Is A Losing Game. Turn it over and the mood loosens. Sam Cooke's Cupid and the ska standard You're Wondering Now sit next to Brother from her debut, and the closing run of You Know I'm No Good, Rehab, Me and Mr Jones and Valerie sends the room home happy. The horn arrangements do a lot of work here.

A good companion piece for anyone already holding the festival recordings from that summer.
