El trío seminal Love and Rockets, compuesto por Daniel Ash, David J y Kevin Haskins, se formó en 1985 tras la disolución de Bauhaus. Su tercer álbum, Earth, Sun, Moon (1987), presentó un sonido acústico e incluyó el éxito de la radio universitaria "No New Tale To Tell". Elogiado por ser "valiente, con raíces, rapsódico y estimulante", el álbum, agotado durante mucho tiempo, ha sido remasterizado por Sean McGee en Abbey Road Studios como parte de la campaña de reedición de Love and Rockets de Beggars Banquet, revitalizando así esta influyente obra.
