Planes es el quinto álbum de estudio de la banda de rock indie Death Cab for Cutie, lanzado originalmente el 30 de agosto de 2005.
El álbum generó tres sencillos: "Soul Meets Body", "Crooked Teeth" y "I Will Follow You into the Dark", con las tres canciones en las listas. "I Will Follow You Into The Dark" se convirtió en Death Cab for Cutie, el sencillo más vendido hasta la fecha, y le valió a la banda una nominación para un premio Grammy a la mejor interpretación pop de un dúo o grupo con voces el año siguiente.
