Prensado de LP en vinilo doble. El lanzamiento de 2010, el tercer álbum propiamente dicho de LCD Soundsystem de James Murphy, sigue al muy bien recibido 'Sounds Of Silver' de 2007. Musicalmente inspirado en David Bowie de finales de 1970, This Is Happening también tiene ilustraciones que hacen referencia directamente al álbum clásico de 1979 de Bowie, Lodger. El disco conserva el peculiar sentido del humor de Murphy e incluye el sencillo 'Drunk Girls'.
