In 2003, a 140-gram vinyl reissue of an LP was released. The album marked Ryan Adams' departure from his alt-country sound and instead embraced a pop and rock sound from the 1970s. In the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the song "New York, New York" took on new meaning as a song of resilience, rather than a lovelorn ballad. The song became very popular on the airwaves and MTV. Adams pays tribute to his favorite artists from the '70s, with clear influences from Neil Young, Stephen Stills, Van Morrison, and Elton John. The album was originally intended to be a double album, but the label cut it down and released a bonus 5-song CD to a limited number of fans. This reissue restores the original intention of the artist and makes it a true double album, with 21 songs pressed into 140-gram vinyl. The album was released on Lost Highway Records and received three Grammy nominations.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.

Hold up… what were we saying?
