Gram Parsons became close friends with Keith Richards, bonding over their mutual love for drugs, and often hung out with the band, The Rolling Stones. Parsons introduced Richards to various country styles, which influenced the Stones' songs, including the famous "Wild Horses". However, Parsons' involvement with the band's second album, "Burrito Deluxe", was half-hearted due to his struggles with drug addiction, eventually leading to his dismissal. He then returned to Los Angeles, where he formed the Fallen Angels and took on Emmylou Harris as his duet partner. In 1972, he released his debut album, "GP", followed by a short live tour. Tragically, in the late summer of 1973, Parsons passed away before completing his second album, "Grievous Angel", which was released four months after his untimely death in 1974.
