Sera Cahoone's roots run deep in the Colorado foothills, where as a young girl she was surrounded by her father's dynamite business and the soulful sounds of the blues. Learning to play the drums at 11 and performing in dive bars at 12, she was shaped by these experiences and went on to become one of the most powerful songwriters in Seattle's Americana scene. After migrating to the city in 1998, she collaborated with various artists before releasing her solo debut in 2006 and her acclaimed Sub Pop debut in 2008. Her third solo album, Deer Creek Canyon, is a reflection on the lasting pull of home. Named after the canyon where she grew up and where her mother still lives, this album showcases Cahoone's powerful vocals and deeply personal lyrics. Produced in collaboration with Thom Monahan and featuring her talented live band, this record is a testament to Cahoone's unwavering dedication to her roots.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.

Hold up… what were we saying?
