After the release of the protean version of 'Another Man's Sac', the band's next album 'PCPPEP' sounded more bizarre than the previous studio record. This was also the first album to feature the classic two-drummer line-up of King Coffey and Teresa Taylor. Although there were rumors that they were siblings, they simply provided a synchronized percussive base for the wild guitars and vocals of Gibby Haynes and Paul Leary. We didn't see the Buttholes again until they played on the East Coast in 1984, by which time they had evolved into full freakout mode after a few bassists had come and gone.
