Poguetry in Motion is an EP by The Pogues, released on Stiff Records in the UK February 1986, and in North America on MCA Records. It was the band's first single to make the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number 29. Poguetry in Motion is the first Pogues recording to feature Philip Chevron and Terry Woods. The EP features the songs "London Girl", "Rainy Night in Soho", "The Body of an American" and "Planxty Noel Hill". The songs were recorded with producer Elvis Costello in August 1985, in the same sessions that produced the first versions of "Fairytale of New York" (with bass player Cait O'Riordan singing the female part of the duet) and a cover version of The Lovin' Spoonful's song "Do You Believe In Magic". Both tracks were intended to feature on the EP, but were eventually left off it.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.

Hold up… what were we saying?
