Martha Argerich (piano) - Chopin, The Legendary 1965 Recording - Vinyl Record
At the age of 24, Martha Argerich captured her performance at Abbey Road shortly after winning the 1965 Warsaw Chopin competition and shortly before she signed to Deutsche Grammophon. It took EMI almost 35 years to release this recording of her playing Chopin which emphasizes the talent of the interpreter in addition to the renown of the composer. Argerich's volcanic energy on this disc is breathtaking in its spontaneity, and she captures the Polish spirit of the Mazurkas. This vibrant disc fully deserves its legendary status.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
