Velocity Girl - UltraCopacetic (Copacetic Remixed and Expanded) - Vinyl Record
This is an updated and expanded edition of Velocity Girl's long out-of-print 1993 debut album, Copacetic, which we have named UltraCopacetic. This new version was remixed in 2023 by the band and includes a second disc of singles, outtakes, and a 1993 Peel Session. Velocity Girl released three albums on Sub Pop from 1993 to 1996 and also contributed to the platinum-selling soundtrack for Clueless.
The band was never fully satisfied with Copacetic's original sound. Since the album's release, they have gained significant experience in recording, and Archie Moore pursued a career in audio work. After a thorough search, Archie managed to locate the original tapes and began remixing the album in 2023. Now, just about a year later, we have an updated and expanded version of their debut album!
