Lost in the Dream is the album that turned The War on Drugs from indie favorites into something much bigger. Adam Granduciel spent over two years writing and recording across Philadelphia, North Carolina, New York, and New Jersey, channeling anxiety, insomnia, and emotional turbulence into 60 minutes of sweeping, immersive rock.

"Under the Pressure" opens with nearly nine minutes of building tension that sets the bar impossibly high, and somehow the album keeps clearing it. "Red Eyes" is an instant classic, all driving rhythm and soaring guitars, while "An Ocean in Between the Waves" stretches into a seven-minute epic that captures the band at full power. Quieter moments like "Suffering" and "Eyes to the Wind" hit just as hard, with Granduciel's voice buried in reverb and longing. The title track floats by with disarming simplicity before "In Reverse" closes everything out in a sprawling, gorgeous finale.

Released in 2014 on Secretly Canadian, Lost in the Dream is widely regarded as one of the best rock albums of the decade. An essential record.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
