Love and Rockets, the influential trio featuring Daniel Ash, David J, and Kevin Haskins, formed in 1985 post-Bauhaus. Their 1989 self-titled fourth album, featuring the hit "So Alive," which reached No. 3 on Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 in Canada, propelled them to gold status. "So Alive" also topped the US Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart for five weeks. Described as "the best T. Rex tune Marc Bolan never wrote," the long out-of-print album is now remastered by Sean McGee at Abbey Road Studios, as part of Beggars Banquet's Love and Rockets reissue campaign.
