Lord Huron's album "Vide Noir" was written and recorded over two years at their Los Angeles studio, Whispering Pines. The album was mixed by Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips/MGMT) and is inspired by the band's frontman, Ben Schneider's, nighttime wanderings through L.A. He describes it as an "epic odyssey" through the city, across dimensions, and out into the cosmos, a journey through the spectrum of human experience and a search for meaning amidst the cold indifference of the universe. The lead single "Wait by the River" has received critical praise with the Los Angeles Times calling it "a gorgeous song, one with the majesty of a 1950s doo-wop ballad." Schneider, a multi-media artist, has also created an adorned world to accompany the album, including imagery, films and immersive experiences to expand on its narratives and themes. It is a continuation of Schneider's past work which used videos, a comic book, a choose-your-own-adventure hotline, and Easter eggs to deepen the listener's experience.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.

Hold up… what were we saying?
