Le Tigre creates some of the most fun and energetic records out there! Their 1999 debut album is full of punk-pop power that really hits the spot. It's like what 80s new wave could have become before it faded away. "Deceptacon," which later became famous from a DFA remix, is incredibly cool—loud and fierce, with a smart fuzzy bassline and an unforgettable chorus. Are these girls just that cool? Someone put "Dancing" on a mixtape for me, and it's become a comforting favorite. Kathleen's vocals are spot-on, and the backing music is lush and rich. Kathleen usually shies away from the crowd during shows, but who can blame the guys when she’s having so much fun on tracks like "Let's Run"? P-Love has also been known to borrow a Le Tigre beat now and then—check out "Friendship Station" for another example. All in all, 12 tracks of pure joy.

Le Tigre is an inspiring American electronic rock band that was formed in 1998 in New York City by Kathleen Hanna (who was formerly part of Bikini Kill), Johanna Fateman, and Sadie Benning. Sadie left the band in 2001 and was kindly replaced by JD Samson, who continued with the group for the rest of their journey. Known for their bold and thought-provoking lyrics, Le Tigre passionately addresses issues related to feminism and the LGBT community. They beautifully blend punk's straightforwardness and activism with playful samples, eclectic pop sounds, and lo-fi electronic music.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.

Hold up… what were we saying?
