Who's Next rose from the wreckage of Lifehouse, Pete Townshend's abandoned sci-fi rock opera meant to follow Tommy. Working with Glyn Johns, The Who salvaged the strongest songs and turned them into a lean, ferocious 1971 album that topped the UK chart and still sits near the top of every classic rock list.

Townshend's pulsing synthesizer loops on "Baba O'Riley" and "Won't Get Fooled Again" pushed rock somewhere new, while Roger Daltrey's roar, Keith Moon's thunder and John Entwistle's "My Wife" keep it unmistakably The Who. "Behind Blue Eyes" and "The Song Is Over" show the tender, searching side of a band at its creative peak.

This Music On Vinyl edition is pressed on 180-gram vinyl and uses Jon Astley's 1995 remix, created from the original multitrack tapes, for a punchy, detailed listen. Essential listening for any rock shelf.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
