Social Distortion - Social Distortion (1LP)
Social Distortion's self-titled third album, first released on Epic in 1990, returns as a Music On Vinyl import pressed on 180-gram audiophile vinyl with an insert of lyrics and photos.
This was the record that broke the Orange County band to a wider audience and remains their best-known work. Recorded in North Hollywood with producer Dave Jerden, it finds Mike Ness blending snarling Southern California punk with rockabilly, blues and classic country, singing about hard living and second chances with hard-won conviction. "Story of My Life" became an alternative radio staple and one of the band's defining songs, "Ball and Chain" is a weary, defiant anthem, and their rollicking take on Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" made the country roots impossible to miss. "So Far Away", "Sick Boys" and "Drug Train" keep the energy high throughout.
Essential listening for punk and roots rock fans alike, and a cornerstone of any Social D collection.

Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
