Dig Me Out is the 1997 album that made Sleater-Kinney one of the most important bands of their generation. The Olympia trio’s third record was the first with Janet Weiss on drums, and her powerhouse playing locked in with Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein’s interlocking guitars to create the band’s classic sound.

Originally issued on Kill Rock Stars, it is a riot grrrl landmark that spills over into pure, joyous rock and roll. The title track and “Words and Guitar” are pure adrenaline, “One More Hour” is a devastating breakup song, and “Little Babies” and “Dance Song ’97” show how much fun the band could be. Critics agreed: it placed fourth in the Village Voice Pazz & Jop poll for 1997 and has since appeared on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

This Sub Pop pressing was freshly remastered by Greg Calbi as part of the band’s 2014 catalogue reissues, giving the record new punch and clarity. A must for anyone who loves punk, indie rock or simply great guitar records.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
