Foot Loose & Fancy Free caught Rod Stewart in 1977 at the peak of his Los Angeles years, backed by a hard-hitting new band and splitting the album between swaggering rock and aching ballads.

The first half kicks off with "Hot Legs", one of his rowdiest rockers, before "You're In My Heart" brings the warmth that made it one of his best-loved songs. The second half takes a soulful turn with a long, slow-burning reading of "You Keep Me Hangin' On" and a version of "(If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don't Want To Be Right", then closes on the reflective "I Was Only Joking". It is classic Rod: rasp, heart and a band that rocks.

This is the 1981 Japanese Warner Bros. reissue, catalogue P-6549W. Japanese pressings of seventies rock are sought after for their clean manufacturing and sturdy jackets, and a surviving OBI adds to the appeal.

An easy pick for any classic rock shelf.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
