No Jacket Required is the 1985 album that made Phil Collins one of the biggest stars of the decade. It topped the charts in the US and the UK and won the Grammy for Album of the Year. The title came from a night Collins was turned away from a restaurant for not wearing a jacket.

The record is a showcase for his bright, drum-machine-driven pop. "Sussudio" is all punchy horns and dance-floor energy, "One More Night" is a tender, slow-burning ballad, and "Don't Lose My Number" and "Take Me Home" became radio staples. Guests include Sting, Peter Gabriel and Helen Terry on backing vocals.

This is the Japanese edition on WEA, catalogue P-13077, made by Warner-Pioneer. Japanese pressings from the mid-1980s are prized by collectors for their quiet vinyl and careful quality control, which suits the album's polished production.

A defining record of eighties pop, ready for your turntable.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
