Oasis - My Magic Pie: Live At Olympia Hall - Vinyl Record

By 1997 Oasis were playing arenas across Europe on the back of Be Here Now, a record that sold enormously and then spent years being argued about. This unauthorized live document catches them at the Olympiahalle in Munich that year, when the new album was still fresh and the band had not yet begun losing members.

The running order tells you what the tour felt like: the title track and Stay Young up front, Stand By Me and a bruising Supersonic, then Roll With It, D'You Know What I Mean? and the seven minute Magic Pie that gives this release its name. Don't Look Back In Anger closes it, as it usually did. Noel and Liam are both audible and engaged, and the guitars carry the wall of sound approach that made those Be Here Now shows louder than the record ever managed.
