Mitski - The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We - Metallic Gold Color Vinyl
Mitski's seventh album, The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, arrived on Dead Oceans in 2023 and found her trading synth-pop gloss for something older and wider. Recorded with a full orchestra and choir, it leans into Americana, country balladry and cinematic folk, giving her songs of love, loneliness and endurance a hushed, sweeping grandeur.
"My Love Mine All Mine" became one of the biggest songs of her career, a gentle waltz about the one thing she can leave behind. Around it, "Bug Like an Angel" opens with a choir crashing in on a single line, "Heaven" swells with strings, and "I'm Your Man" closes in on something darker, with the record ending on the quiet resolve of "I Love Me After You".
This edition is pressed on metallic gold vinyl and housed in a die-cut outer sleeve, a striking presentation for one of the most acclaimed albums of its year. An essential for Mitski collectors and anyone drawn to Weyes Blood, Angel Olsen or Phoebe Bridgers.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
