John Carpenter's Lost Themes II turns ten, and Sacred Bones marks the occasion with an expanded art edition on neon violet vinyl, wrapped in newly commissioned artwork by Randy Ortiz.

Released in 2016 and made with his son Cody Carpenter and godson Daniel Davies, the album pushed his imagined soundtracks into bigger, richer territory. Pulsing minimal synths still set the mood, but layered arrangements and electric and acoustic guitars give pieces like "Distant Dream," "Angel's Asylum" and "Utopian Facade" a widescreen sweep. It is the sound of a horror master scoring films that exist only in your head.

The set adds a bonus 7" carrying "Real Xeno," making its first vinyl appearance outside the limited Sacred Bones Society release, with an etched design created for this edition on the flip. A striking piece for synth collectors and Carpenter devotees, and perfect listening for a late-night October drive.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
