Kaoru Ishibashi — performing as Kishi Bashi — is a classically trained violinist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter whose live shows are legendary for their one-man-orchestra intensity: loop pedals, layered violins, soaring falsetto, and an infectious joy that fills every room. Lighght (pronounced "Light"), his acclaimed sophomore album, channels that live energy into a studio record that feels both meticulously crafted and spontaneously alive.
