Few voices sound as much like open country as John Denver's. Through the 1970s he turned songs about mountains, home and simple love into enormous hits, and his clear tenor and twelve-string guitar made him one of the best-selling artists of the decade.

His Ultimate Collection gathers 15 of those songs on a single remastered LP. "Take Me Home, Country Roads", "Rocky Mountain High" and "Sunshine On My Shoulders" are all here, along with "Annie's Song", the tender love song he wrote for his wife, and "Calypso", his tribute to Jacques Cousteau's research ship. "Leaving, On A Jet Plane", which he wrote before Peter, Paul and Mary made it a number one, sits next to a live "Thank God I'm A Country Boy" and "Perhaps Love", his 1981 duet with Plácido Domingo.

Released by RCA and Sony Music on 180-gram vinyl, it is a fine single-disc introduction to his catalogue, and an easy gift for anyone who grew up with these songs. Put it on and roll the windows down in your mind.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
