Goose's Undecided EP captures the Connecticut jam band at a creative crossroads — and that's exactly the point. Recorded with producer D. James Goodwin during the sessions for their breakout 2022 album Dripfield, these four tracks were cut from the same inspired cloth but stand on their own as some of the band's tightest studio work.
Rick Kelly, Peter Anspach, Jeff Arevalo, Trevor Weekz, and Ben Atkind channel their legendary live energy into focused, studio-polished form here. "All I Need" opens with an infectious groove that builds into soaring vocal harmonies, while "Elizabeth" showcases the band's gift for melody amid exploratory instrumentation. "Tumble" rides a driving rhythm section into psychedelic territory, and the title track "Undecided" closes things out with the kind of dynamic, shape-shifting arrangement that has made Goose one of the most exciting live acts in rock.
