Esther Rose wrote How Many Times while in perpetual motion. Over the course of two years, she moved three times, navigated the end of a relationship, and began touring more than ever. The New Orleans-based singer-songwriter used that momentum to pen her third studio album. The title of the album is a nod to the cyclical nature of life, and there's a rush that accompanies it, as if you're experiencing an awakening too.

Rose expands her alt-country sound into a blossoming world of folk-pop, rustic Americana, and tender harmonies, with the integrity of Dean Johnson, Faustina Masigat, and Kiki Cavazos serving as primary influences. The album features complete takes recorded live to tape, with rich instrumentation, soul-tugging hooks, and resonating vocal melodies. It carries you into the room in which it was made. Co-producer Ross Farbe of synthpop band Video Age helped realize this and brought a stereo pop glow to the new songs.

Rose's journey over the past few years has been one of saying yes to new opportunities, from opening for Nick Lowe on tour to singing on Jack White's latest album. She has nurtured and played in bands in the New Orleans country music scene while growing both personally and artistically. How Many Times is evidence of the sweeping growth Rose has undergone. She's turning towards her troubles and facing them head-on, ready to feel whatever's necessary in order to keep growing upwards and outwards.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
