Daryl Hall & John Oates - Private Eyes - Japanese Vintage Vinyl
Private Eyes, from 1981, is Daryl Hall and John Oates at their commercial peak, self-produced and recorded with their touring band, which is why it snaps the way it does. "Private Eyes" and "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)" both went to number one, the second becoming one of the most sampled grooves in pop, and deeper cuts like "Mano A Mano" and "Unguarded Minute" hold their own. This is an original Japanese pressing, catalogue RPL-8090 on RCA, and Japanese pressings of the era are collected for their quality control, quieter surfaces and sturdier packaging. The OBI strip is present, which most surviving copies have lost. One copy only, graded as received.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
