Cult - The Cult - Vinyl Record 2LP
Released in 1994, The Cult's self-titled sixth album is often called the "Black Sheep" album after its cover, and the name fits. Reunited with Sonic Temple producer Bob Rock, Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy turned away from big arena hooks toward something darker, heavier and far more personal, with lyrics drawing on Astbury's own childhood.
Songs like "Gone," "Coming Down (Drug Tongue)" and "Star" pair Duffy's grinding, alternative-era guitar with some of Astbury's most raw vocals, and the record slowly reveals itself with each listen. The band split the following year, which left the album overlooked for a long time. Many fans now rank it among their most rewarding work.
This Beggars Arkive reissue spreads the album across two black LPs, with picture inner sleeves carrying photos, credits and lyrics. A great pickup for anyone who stopped at Sonic Temple.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
