Breeders, The - Last Splash Vinyl Record
Released in 1993, Last Splash turned The Breeders from a Pixies side project into one of the defining bands of the decade. Kim Deal, her twin sister Kelley, Josephine Wiggs and Jim Macpherson made a record that is playful, noisy and strange, and it gave alternative radio one of its most recognisable songs.
Cannonball is the obvious hook, with its distorted vocal intro and a bassline that still fills dance floors, but the album runs much deeper. Divine Hammer is a perfect slice of fuzzy power pop, No Aloha and Do You Love Me Now? slow things down to a hazy shimmer, and Saints rides a carefree summer riff. Between the hits sit surf instrumentals, country detours and odd little sketches that make the whole thing feel like a mixtape from a very cool friend.
This 4AD reissue includes a full-colour inner sleeve with artwork, lyrics and credits. An essential nineties indie rock record that belongs in every collection.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
