Love, the 2014 album from Amen Dunes, marked a turning point for Damon McMahon. Earlier records were cut in a matter of weeks and built on improvised first takes, but Love took close to a year and a half of steady work. McMahon held the main sessions in Montreal with Dave Bryant and Efrim Menuck of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and members of Godspeed play on several songs.

Colin Stetson adds saxophone, and Iceage's Elias Bender Rønnenfelt duets with McMahon on two tracks. The result is spacious, elemental songwriting about time, love and memory, from the opener "White Child" through "Lonely Richard" and "I Know Myself" to the closing title song. It remains a high point in the Sacred Bones catalog and the most substantial Amen Dunes record of its era.

This pressing comes on blue and white marble color vinyl. A natural fit for any shelf of slow-burning, soulful indie rock.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
