White Light, White Heat, White Trash is Social Distortion's fifth studio album, originally released on Epic in 1996 and reissued by Music On Vinyl on 180-gram audiophile vinyl, in a heavyweight leather-laminate sleeve with a printed inner sleeve of lyrics and credits.

Produced by Michael Beinhorn, it is the band's heaviest and most direct record, trading some of the rockabilly swing of earlier albums for thick, punishing guitars and Mike Ness's most personal writing. "I Was Wrong" became one of their biggest radio hits, a blunt look back at a misspent youth, while "Don't Drag Me Down" takes aim at racism with raw fury. "Dear Lover", "When the Angels Sing" and "Down Here (With the Rest of Us)" round out an album full of grit and hard-earned perspective, and the unlisted closing cover of the Rolling Stones' "Under My Thumb" is a fan favourite.

A powerful 90s punk record that rewards loud, repeated plays.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
