Death Cab for Cutie- Something About Airplanes Vinyl Record
Something About Airplanes is where it all starts. Recorded in 1998 and released on Barsuk in 1999, it is Ben Gibbard's bedroom project turning into a band, all tape hiss, jangling guitars and lyrics that already sound like nobody else. "President Of What?" and "Bend To Squares" are the songs longtime fans still ask for, and "Line Of Best Fit" closes the record with the kind of slow unravelling the band would spend the next decade refining. This Barsuk reissue keeps the original artwork, including the die cut jacket and two piece insert, and is pressed on 180 gram QRP vinyl with a download code.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
