Fontaines D.C. - Dopamine Chamber - Blue Vinyl Record

Fontaines D.C. follow the breakthrough of Romance with Dopamine Chamber, their fifth album and the one where the Dublin band leans hardest into atmosphere. Grian Chatten has said he wanted to start "in a tight recording space, sounding like a live punk band," and let the songs morph into "something more universal, sicker, festered."

James Ford returns as producer, with the music tracked at Decoy Studios in Suffolk and Chatten's vocals recorded separately in Palermo, Sicily. Marta Salogni adds engineering and programming, and string arrangements colour five songs, including lead single Marianne and the slow-burning Where Is Gone?. Expect potent balladry and big melodies set against the cooler, more synthetic textures the band has been moving toward since Romance.

This limited edition presses the album on blue vinyl and swaps in alternative cover art on a spine sleeve, with a printed inner sleeve and folded insert. A sharp companion for collectors who already own the Romance variants.
