Better Oblivion Community Center - Self Titled Vinyl Record
Better Oblivion Community Center is the duo of Phoebe Bridgers and Conor Oberst, two of the most celebrated songwriters of their generations. Their self-titled debut arrived on Dead Oceans in January 2019 with almost no warning, unveiled with a late-night TV performance, and quickly became a fan favourite.
Written and recorded in Los Angeles in 2018 and co-produced with longtime Bright Eyes collaborator Andy LeMaster, the album trades lines and harmonies between the two voices over bright, ramshackle indie rock. Single "Dylan Thomas" is a jangly, wry anthem, "Sleepwalkin'" and "Chesapeake" show off their gift for bittersweet storytelling, and "Dominos" closes on a tender cover of Taylor Hollingsworth. Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner, drummer Carla Azar and the rhythm section of Dawes all contribute.
Essential for fans of Bright Eyes, boygenius and Phoebe's solo records, and a perfect bridge between the two catalogues.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
