Foals - Antidotes - Recycled Color Vinyl Record

 

From Oxford, England comes the Foals: a mesmerizing five-piece dance-rock band that combines the experimental sounds of composer Steve Reich, the unique style of Andy Roddick, and their own touch. Their driving beats, intricate guitar melodies, and splashes of synth create a one-of-a-kind formula that is like a finely tuned machine. Lead singer and guitarist Yannis Philippakis explains that their guitars are meant to mimic the sound of insects, adding a strange harmony to their music. Foals' highly anticipated album, Antidotes, was recorded in Brooklyn, NY with renowned producer and guitarist David Sitek, taking five weeks and including special guests like the horn section from Antibalas and vocals from Katrina Ford of Celebration.
