Richard D. James, also known as Aphex Twin, released his fourth album in 1996. This album is regarded as his drill 'n' bass masterpiece and is autobiographical in nature. It follows the lineage of his previous digital era album "...I Care Because You Do". The album features playful melodies that are intertwined with aggressive, hyperspeed breakbeats and quasi-jungle rhythms. One of the most memorable tracks from the album is "Girl" / "Boy Song" which uses a self-parodying, macabre image of a grave that has the inscription "Richard James - November 1968" as the sleeve image. The album showcases Richard D. James' expertise in electronically generated audio. He also experiments with more concrete techniques such as sampling, distorting, looping, and the use of human voice, physical instruments, and environmental sound. The album is still as compelling to listen to today as it was when it was first released. It is available in the form of heavyweight vinyl with paper inner, top-loader LP outer, and download.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.

Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.

If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.

After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.

Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
