Originally released in 2017 on the band’s own label Artificial Plastic and now reissued by Fuzz Club Records, Damage And Joy marks the seventh studio album from the iconic Scottish alt-rock legends The Jesus and Mary Chain. This long-awaited follow-up to 1998’s Munki was their first studio album in nearly two decades, delighting fans with a blend of brand new material and reimagined versions of songs the Reid brothers had crafted during the time between the band’s 1999 break-up and their heartfelt reunion in 2007. Co-produced by the talented Youth (Killing Joke), this album features the memorable lead singles ‘Amputation’ and ‘All Things Pass’. Plus, it includes special guest appearances from the wonderful Scottish singer-songwriter Isobel Campbell (‘The Two of Us’, ‘Song For A Secret’) and the American alt-pop star Sky Ferreira (‘Black And Blues’).
