Drop Nineteens - 1991 - White Color Vinyl Record
Following the release of Drop Nineteens’ first album in three decades, Hard Light, and the reissue of their 1992 shoegaze classic Delaware, we proudly present the official release of Drop Nineteens’ 1991. This LP features the band’s initial two demo sessions, originally distributed on cassette to labels in 1991, which quickly caught the attention of the UK music press and sparked a rush to sign the group. After joining Caroline Records, Drop Nineteens chose to create an entirely new album, Delaware, for their debut, leaving the 1991 tracks preserved as a snapshot of their early sound. Characterized by layered guitars and subtle vocal harmonies, these recordings reveal the band’s affinity with UK shoegaze peers like Slowdive and Ride. With a lo-fi aesthetic, 1991 captures an ambitious young band crafting textured, hook-driven songs on the cusp of their breakthrough.

Shipping
Orders typically ship within two business days. Media Mail might be budget-friendly, but it travels at a glacial pace and gets little love from the postal service. For faster, smoother delivery, choose USPS Priority or UPS/USPS Ground.
Returns
Unopened returns accepted within 30 days — you cover shipping.
If your record arrives damaged or folded (thanks, postal service), reach out ASAP so we can fix it.
After 30 days, it’s yours to keep forever.
Avoid extreme heat or sunlight. Definitely don’t let it mingle with any Justin Bieber records. Treat it like your grandma — gentle, respectful, and quiet during Murder, She Wrote.
Hold up… what were we saying?
